Municipality of Stryków is one out of nine units of local government creating Zgierz District. It is located on a borderline of Łódź Hills and Łowicz-Błonie Plain, in a direct neighborhood of Łódź. In the municipality there live almost 12 thousand people. Location of Stryków Municipality is exceptional in comparison to the rest of Poland: it is crossed by two most important motorways in the country.
An interchange of middle Europe motorways A1 (Gdansk  - Vienna) and A2 (Berlin -  Moscow) stands for a strategic asset of the district.
